At SJN, our history and foundation center on providing each student a safe, structured environment as a foundation for life. Being away from home, preparing to make the most of each day, being personally responsible for making your bed, cleaning your room, folding your clothes, looking sharp and in uniform, and maintaining a rigorous schedule are the life skills that prepare our students to be high achievers for whatever they aspire to in the future. The dormitories are secure with adult supervision, and our students develop academic fundamental habits through our required evening supervised study halls with peer and tutor resources available, and an advantageous 12-to-1 student-teacher ratio that instills high academic achievement. Taking Flight
As part of the Academy’s Engineering, Robotics & Aviation program, students like William Braunschweig can earn their private pilot’s license while attending the school. The program also recently added a state-of-the-art flight simulator which allows our students a unique head start on advancing in the aviation field.

New in 2023-24, the basketball partnership between DME Academy and SJN gives our student-athletes a leg up in pursuing the next level of their sport. In 2023, the partnership saw two First-Round NBA Draft picks and a pair of breakout seasons from a few of our rising star alumni.
